Jacqueline Weber Obituary

Jacqueline Tremblay Weber
June 17, 2025
Jacqueline Tremblay Weber, 94, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 17, 2025, while residing at St. Francis Nursing Home in Laconia, NH. She was born to Edgar and Ozanne (Lapointe) Tremblay on July 29, 1930, at La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada. At the age of 24, she courageously immigrated to Cheshire, CT to be a French-speaking nanny. In 1955, after marrying George Weber, she became a life-long resident of West Haven, CT until 2022 when her Alzheimer's and Dementia became too much for her to live alone. She left CT and moved to Moultonborough, NH to live with Annette and Eric. Again, her disease progressed too much and in January, she moved to St. Francis Nursing Home. Jacqueline was known for her kindness, her smile, and deep commitment to her family and faith in God.
Jacqueline's life was marked by her love of God and was a founding member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, and all things creative, including sewing, painting, decorating, and especially gardening.
She is survived by her children Bruce and Maureen (Rogers/Hanke) Weber and Eric and Annette (Weber) Lesonsky; grandchildren Joseph and Matthew Lesonsky and fiancée Mary DiConza; step-grandchildren Marcus and Sarah (Hanke) Tolson and Eric and Sarah (Chalifoux) Hanke; and step-great-grandchildren Mariah Tolson and Josie Hanke.
She is also survived by her siblings Andre and Pierrette (Lambert) Tremblay and Noel Tremblay, as well as in-laws Jean Dufour, Denise Lalumiere, and Joan (O'Connor) Weber. She is remembered by a cherished circle of friends and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband George John Weber; siblings Roland and Clemence (Lemoine) Tremblay, Loyola and Marthe (Tremblay) Belanger, Emery and Lorraine (Tremblay) Tremblay, Constance (Tremblay) Dufour, Raymond and Colette (Tremblay) Tremblay, and Lauretta (Michaud) Tremblay; as well as her Weber in-laws; John Aloysius, Elizabeth, William, Henry and Dorothy (Medling), Hiram and Mary (Weber) Atkins, Donald and Catherine (Weber) Brinkley, Joseph and Gloria (Quarz), and Paul.
A celebration of Jacqueline's life will be held on Thursday, June 26, from 5–7 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven, CT. Jacqueline's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on the morning of Friday, June 27 at 9:30 in St. John Vianney Church of St. John XXIII Parish, 300 Captain Thomas Boulevard, West Haven, CT. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Jaqueline's name to: St. Francis Activity Fund, 406 Court St., Laconia, NH 03246.
