James O'Brien Obituary

O'BRIEN, JAMES F., JR. James F. O'Brien Jr., faithful and devoted husband, father, and friend, died on Monday, September 2, 2013 at his home in Branford. He is survived by his wife Jane Lemieux O'Brien of Branford; his sons James J. O'Brien and Matthew O.O'Brien, both of San Jose, CA; his daughters Erin Brooks (husband Andrew) of Guilford, Andrea Brooks (husband Joshua) of Branford, and Cara J. Voldseth (husband Jason) of Campbell, CA. He is also survived by his brothers Gene O'Brien, Daniel O'Brien; his sisters Betty Ann O'Brien, Carol Pontek , and Terry Fachet. He also leaves six grandchildren; Krista & Lola, Calvin & Harper, and Sophia & Beckham. He was predeceased by his brothers William and Robert O'Brien. James was born in New York on May 1st, 1936, a son of James F. O'Brien, Sr. and Mildred Gomez O'Brien. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was an accountant for the Marriott Corporation for many years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at the Evangelical Free Church in Branford. Burial will follow in Stony Creek Cemetery in Branford. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hand of Hope, c/o Joyce Meyer Ministries, P.O.
