Yesterday

I thoroughly enjoyed working for John. His compassion for the youth in our care, determination to assure that the children and staff were treated respectfully will always remain a constant in my mind. Also, will never forget his sense of humor! He was one of a kind.
Deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

Although John graduated from Stonehill after me, I was very aware of his presence on campus.
He certainly earned a description of that era as "a really good guy".
RIP John

Worked with John on and off over decades at DCF. He was always so helpful especially w newbies as I was to the agency. We learned a lot from him. Anytime you were puzzled over how to handle something, you could always count on John to come up w some great ideas as well as history on types of casework. RIP John

My sincere heart felt condolences to the entire family. I worked with John at DCYS/DCF back in the 80s and 90s before John went onto Careline and later Long Lane.. He was a true inspiration, a great man, knowledgeable compassionate, a true stand up guy. He always had a smile on and a good thing to say, he never presented as down or upset no matter how tough the situation became. Godspeed John RIP.
