To the Spender family, and Waterbury Christian Fellowship, we offer our condolences on the loss of Jack. We first met him in the early 1980s when we attended West Woods Bible Chapel. His preaching and teaching definitely aided our spiritual growth, and we continued to follow his information on the internet after we moved from Connecticut. Though there is earthly sadness at this time, we have eternal heavenly gladness that he is with the Lord, and that one day we will be with him and our Lord and Savior.

Dad - I don't have many words for now, but I'll say what you always said to me: Get some good rest.

Bible studies in Dorm F, 32-A! Hebrews study on Saturday mornings! I learned so much from Jack. I can't think of anyone who had more impact on my early years as a Christian.

My mind and heart traces memories back to a Bible Study at Quinnipiac 1974...Romans... a night that redirected my future path. Sprinting/ floating down dorm road with the joy of a new believer. Part of the Q few crew.
Who was the Bible study leader? Jackson ( my nickname for him)
I told him often during 42 years @ WWCA... IF God kept track of assists... he, Jackson, was the league leader of anything good that happened at WWCA.

From Valley Bible Chapel, up in Madawaska, Maine: Our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Spender Family. Jack and Ruth visited our assembly several times over the years. His teachings have made great impact on the saints. His love for the Lord and the Lord's people shined through powerfully. I will miss his counsel and encouragement. He is one of the brethren that helped me the most in ministry.
We are looking forward to seeing you again around our wonderful Saviour.

There are too many memories to mention...too many spaghetti dinners after and between Bible studies, too many hymn sings, too many private prayer times and many, many wonderful memories at the cabins.
Your friendship, training, help, encouragement, and faithfulness will always reside in my heart. Until we meet again, love you always, Teech!!
