I just found out about Joes passing and I have to say Im a bit rattled. I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Hamden High School and he is one of the nicest people I have met, a true joy to have in class. My heart breaks for his family and all who know him.

I am very fortunate to have crossed paths with Joe. He was somebody who brought great energy with him wherever he went. I worked side by side with Joe making pies, nothing but laughs and good times every shift. He has played a significant role in teaching me good work ethic. Ill make sure to have a beer for you at the Playwrite Joe, youll be missed. My condolences to the Cush family.

It's been a week and I still don't know what to say. My prayers and best wishes to you all. I will miss Joe. He was a great kid and excellent co-worker. Cush on Friday night pies...everybody loved working with Joe, especially me. It never felt like we were working when Joe was in the kitchen with us...just good conversation and lots of laughs. Too many good memories for this forum. We were all lucky to have known him. Joe, as I told you often (and others) you were one of the best and I'm glad I to I got to know you. I'll take that beer when I see you on the other side. Miss you buddy...Eddy.

So Incredibly saddened by this news. Joey was one of the kindest guys in the neighborhood. From spring Glen through high school. And throughout the years post college. He will be missed by so many. Sending hugs, strength and prayers to your family and all of your friends and Co workers who were so lucky to know you. Rest easy Joey.

It was definitely a shock to hear this terrible news about Joe. He was a great friend, and definitely someone I could always count on. Our friendship became a bit distant over the past couple years but we definitely shared some great memories. My condolences to the Cush family, he was a great man and will be missed.

This news is really sad to hear and my condolences to everyone affected by this loss. Joe was such a great guy. I met Joe in 2011 while living in Hamden. At the time I lived across the street from the Playwright and was invited to play golf with Celtic Tigers Golf Society and that's where I met him the first time. Tons of laughs with the him and lots of great golf memories! He would come over to watch football games in fall all the time. I moved away from Hamden in 2013 but stay connected with him through the years. I visited Hamden a few times since then and always reach out. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Cush family.
