Joseph F. Egan, Jr. passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 at the age of 85. Born in New Haven, CT on November 9, 1935, the son of Joseph Egan and Florence (Crowley) Egan. He is survived by his 3 children, Janice Egan of West Palm Beach FL, Joanne Egan Chapdelaine of Wallingford CT and Patrick (Lisa) Egan of New Haven CT along with his sister Janice Egan of Wallingford CT and his 4 grandchildren Thomas, Sarah, Maggie and Olivia. He was predeceased by his brother Larry Egan.
Joe was a US Army Veteran, a retired member of Ironworkers Local 424 where he served as its Business Agent for some 19 years. He was also a mediator for the State of CT Labor Department.
There will be no calling hours and internment will be at the discretion of his family.
Contributions in his memory can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children PO Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438
