Joseph Oddi Obituary
Joseph Oddi, 89, of East Haven, beloved husband of Lillian DelGrosso Oddi, passed away on April 1, 2018 in CT Hospice. Loving father of Sharon Burress of East Haven, John (Doreen) Moschette of Seymour, Lauren (David DeSantos) Moschette of Charlotte, NC and the late Barbara Ann Nelson. Also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and predeceased by a granddaughter Nicole Willis. Brother of the late Frances Oddi, Pia Vohar, Mary Criscuolo and Frank Oddi. Joe was born in New Haven on October 8, 1928, son of the late Ceaser and Pia Ciampini Oddi. Prior to his retirement Joe was a steel worker for the former Detroit Steel Company. He was also a WW II Marine veteran.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass in Our Lady of Pompeii Church SATURDAY morning April 7, 2018 at 11:00. Interment will be private. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Arrangements in care of the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405.
