Hi Stephen, I have your moms beautiful face smiling at me on my desk. I hope you are continuing to do well and to know that she is your guardian angel and with you always - just from a different vantage point. I suspect you've felt this frequently. Love to have an update from you anytime and if you ever get into Pittsburgh to see your Dad - let's get together for coffee or a Happy Hour! Merry Grateful Christmas to you xoxo - [email protected]

Knew Joyce in Pittsburgh and later in Atlanta. A wonderful human being, quick witted and a joy to be around. Joyce, May you have eternal peace and love. My life has taken me far away from when we knew one another but I have and will always have a part of my soul synced with her. Rest in eternal peace and love.

Sincere condolences to anyone who knew Joyce. She was a great friend of mine since we were in the same homeroom in 10th grade. She visited my husband and me in CA when I had my daughter Bonnie; now Bonnie is expecting her first child. Years passed, and I posted a picture of her and Stephen in our dining room. Our 8 children really didn't know her, and maybe I mentioned that to her. While on a business trip to CA, she came by "to defend my place on the wall!" Most remembered that when I announced her passing. I didn't realize how sick she was; our recent emails were mostly about her son's success. I am so sorry to lose her; I know I am among many who will truly miss Joyce.

I was so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. We worked together for several great years before she moved to New England, and became good friends. Joyce was an amazing person and positively influenced the lives of so many. Her talents have been passed on to Stephen, and I know her light will continue to shine through him. My sincere condolences to Russ, Stephen & family.

I was so sorry to hear of Joyce's death. Joyce and I became good friends when she was an account executive at Sprint supporting my line of business at Mellon. We had many great luncheons and dinners over the years. She was so proud of Steve and my daughter and I would attend the musicals he performed in when he was a student at North Allegheny HS. We told Joyce then Steve would someday be in Hollywood. We knew!! She was all everyone has described, a class act. So sorry to family and friends for this great loss!

Oh Stephen I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was so proud of you and loved you beyond measure. And Russ whom I've not had the pleasure of meeting - my sincere condolences. Joyce and I were really good buddies over 30 years ago and I held her in very high regard. We had good times and sad times too numerous to count. She was a class act through and through and truly one in a million. I had no idea she was in a battle for her life and I'm so sorry she's been taken from all of you at such a young age. It's little comfort at a time like this , but please know she was respected and loved by many. Debra Dion Krischke

So sorry to hear about Joyce. I worked with her at Pitney Bowes back in the 80s and I remember when she was pregnant and her sales doubled during that time. I occassionally ran into her over the years in the North Hills. Very nice lady, sorry for your loss.

I probably knew Joyce longer than anyone else in the family. I lived with Bud and Sis in DC and of course Joyce was just a little girl then. I became her chief babysitter and we would spend time reading books, playing games and pretend. Even then, I could see a successful life for her. She had that quiet, confident maturity that developed into adulthood. Joyce had all the qualities of a beautiful person inside and out, and the greatest being her dignity.
We offer our deepest sympathy to Russ, Steve and the Wallace/Woods families.
Due to recent surgery, we will be unable to make the trip to Pittsburgh but at the appointed time on Saturday, we will take a moment to say "thanks, Joyce" for being who you were and for touching all of our lives in some way. Rest in peace, dear heart. We will not forget.
