MARONE, MARC Marc Marone, 46, of East Haven passed away January 25, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born August 9, 1969 in New Haven to Peter Marone (Regina Kenny) of Milford and Nancy (Stone) Marone of Wallingford. Marc is survived by his parents and friend, companion and partner, Gale Carbone of East Haven and a brother, Peter Marone III of Hamden. Marc is also survived by nephew, Ian Marone and two sisters through marriage, Christine Fryer of NYC and Lisa Fryer of Hamden. Marc grew up in Hamden and lived in East Haven for the past six years with his partner, Gale. He was the Head Chef at Abate’ Restaurant on Wooster Street where he worked for over 20 years. Marc loved being in the kitchen and food was his passion. He was well liked and respected by his friends and co-workers. He enjoyed the outdoors and he loved tending his garden in the summer months. Marc was a great fan of The Dallas Cowboys and the UCONN Woman’s Basketball team. Marc enjoyed taking vacations; he and Gale often traveled to Cape Cod and Puerto Rico. He loved taking road trips to Vermont with Gale and their dog, Juno. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Marc had a smile for everyone and will be sorely missed by his friends and family. Family will receive friends from 9 AM to 12 (Noon) on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.
