Marcia Talarczyk died on August 29, 2025, in Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born on January 12, 1948, to Joseph and Frances Olszyk Talarczyk, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Mary Grazioso; her brother-in-law Frank Grazioso; nephew Henry Grazioso, his wife Kristine, and their sons Alex and Nicholas; her niece Claudia Filardi, her husband Peter, and their daughters Esme and Adeline. She loved her special aunt Genevieve Tomaszek, to whom she spoke nightly. She is also survived by her dearest friend Marianne Esposito, who enriched her life in so many ways by being kind and caring, taking her to Mass weekly and out to dinner. Marianne contributed much to Marcia's happiness during her lifetime. Finally, she leaves behind many cousins and friends. Marcia graduated from East Haven High School and Stone Business School and worked at SNET for 25 years. She was a volunteer at the West Haven VA Medical Center, YNHH and Connecticut Hospice. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and adding to her cherished doll collection, which at one time numbered more than 100 dolls.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, September 3rd, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Lupinski Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Joseph Church, 129 Edwards Street, New Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
