Entered into rest on November 9, 2021, Marie J. Apuzzo Farricielli, 75, loving wife of 55 years to Vincent T. Farricielli (Past President of the Walter Camp Football Foundation); devoted mother to Maria Lisa (Ron) Listman and Lynn Ann Farricielli; sister of Richard (Lysa) Apuzzo; "Mom-ere" to Reana and Rylan Listman; also survived by nieces, nephews, and special cousins Eleanor and Joseph Celotto.
Born in New Haven on January 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry (Rick) and Julia Capobianco Apuzzo . Prior to retirement she was employed as a Customer Service Representative at American National Bank, and later on as an Executive Assistant for both Bayer Pharmaceutical & the Hospital of St. Raphael. Her volunteer work included St. Raphael's Women Auxiliary, Branford Food Bank, and she was devoted to the Sisters at the Monastery of the Glorious Cross.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary's Church in Branford on Saturday November 13, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. There are no calling hours, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Branford Food Pantry, 30 Harrison Ave., Branford, CT 06405

Vinny and family, we are saddened and shocked to learn of Marie´s passing. We remember times together way back with Seagram. Marie and I stayed in touch through emails and online. She was a feisty political gal and we loved laughing together. We remember a few dinners in Nashville too. She will be missed by many.

Vinny and Daughters...We were extremely sad to hear of Marie's passing. We will alway remember how you, Vinny & your wonderful wife Marie, treated my Dad Tony like he was family member. We are all so saddened of Marie's passing. There are too many words to describe what a wonderful person she was! Her kindness to all was beyond. Her donated time and meals for those in need will never be forgotten. Marie loved cooking and entertaining. Always fun to be around.

Dear Vin, Maria and Lynn... We are so sad to learn of the passing of Marie. I remember working in the same department with her for many years at Bayer. She came to work every day with a big smile, a happy disposition, and always ready to laugh together as we dealt with the typical daily situations. Liz and I also remember coming to the house in Branford as guests of Marie and Vin for drinks and parties on the back deck. She was a lovely and special person, and while she will be missed by all of you, we hope your grief is lessened by the many memories of the happiness you all shared for so may years.
