Matthew J. Codeanne
1976 - 2021
Matthew J. Codeanne of New Haven, died Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was born in Carmel, NY February 29, 1976 son of Virginia Driscoll Codeanne of Old Saybrook and the late William F. Codeanne. He grew up in Westport and graduated from Staples High School in 1995. Besides his mother he is survived by a son Mattox J. Codeanne of Bethany, his sister Jennifer (Harrison) McClain and his niece Emeline McClain, all of Mithlodian, VA. Also survived by his former wife Laura Codeanne and her mother Judith Hackman of Bethany, his special friend Amy Popelo, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew will remain in the hearts of all those who loved him. We love you Matt!
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 10:00 in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. For directions and online memorial, see www.wsclancy.com.
