Michael Dodge Obituary
We are devastated to announce the passing of Michael Christopher Dodge (Maloy), on November 27, 2025.
Family: Mike spent his early years in Florida, living with his mother (JoAnn) and sister (Nichole) in the home of maternal grandparents, Annabella and Bernard, where he felt very loved and supported. Mike had close relationships with his various cousins (Danny, Mathew and JoJo), Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. While in his early twenties Mike moved to Old Saybrook to start a new chapter in his life. Mike moved in with his dad (Eric), stepmother (Kim), sister (Erica) and brother (Jonathan).
Mike expressed gratitude for his love of family, friends, fun and of course food.
We would like to give a special shoutout to Mike's close friends that had an impact on his life: Vijay, Tim, Nick, Rob, and Mikey.
Mike formed a special bond with his employer (Tim Sylvestre) and the employees (Tyler, Joe, Daniel, to name a few) of the Deck in Westbrook, CT where Mike was the head Chef.
Please continue to share memories and photos of Mike as we all grieve his loss together. Rest in Peace. We all love you, Mike.
A remembrance get-together will be held on Sunday, December 7, at 12 p.m. at The Deck in Westbrook, CT.

Mike was an amazing human being !!!! He was always kind to me, to everyone, even included me in some of the taste testing for new dishes he created!!! He always had a smile on his face no matter what day or time!! He will truly be missed. To have known him was an honor. My condolences to his family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers... he may not be here with us in flesh but he will always be here in spirit
