Michael Guidone Obituary
February 7, 1978 - June 25, 2025
Michael L. Guidone, 47, of Hamden, died June 25th, at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Kerry A. Marcio Guidone for 25 years. Mike was born in New Haven, son of Mary Landino Guidone and the late Michael Guidone, and resided in Hamden all of his life. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and graduated from Quinnipiac with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He then went on to become a CPA for 25 years. He was a Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served, along with his wife, as director of The Helpers of God's Precious Infants, a pro-life apostolate in New Haven. There was no greater love than the love Mike had for his wife and children. He was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Kerry Marcio Guidone of Hamden, and six children, Michael, Clare, Gabriel, Philomena, Francesco and Angelina. He is also survived by his mother, Mary, his brother, John (Tina Fiasconaro) Guidone, and their two children, Lucy and Cheshire. He was pre-deceased by his father, Michael Guidone. Calling hours will be held Sunday, from 4 - 7 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends are asked to go directly to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Monday, at 10 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Guidone Children.

Dear Kerry, Children, Mary and the Guidone and Landino Families:
Please accept my condolences on Michael's passing. I never had the opportunity to have met Michael, but his character, compassion and commitment show through in the words of his obituary. I fondly remember Mary and Lou Landino when we were a lot younger growing up in Morris Cove and have known Uncle Richard as a fine, long ago class mate.
I expect the collective strength of family and faith and the shared memories of Michael will help you all thru this most difficult time.
