Dear Chuck, Ruth and Girls: As my heart is hurting for your family, I find myself going back in time 20 years or so. I am smiling as I remember this kid showing up at my door, wiping his nose on his sleeve, and becoming part of our extended family. Ray and Mike had a great friendship that at times, was just silly. We loved having Mike in our lives. He's with his buddy Ray, probably still doing something to make Ray laugh!
I wish I could be with you all, but know that my thoughts, my prayers and my spirit (and Ray's) is with you during this sadness. May you find peace in the many joyous memories you all have.
