Michael was a kind and generous friend to Charter Oak. His funding allowed for our children to have transportation to events and activities throughout the state. We always looked forward to seeing him at performances. He will be missed.

Hello all, So sorry for your loss. I was so grateful to Michael for maintaining a friendship with my dad , Steve Hirsch, and sharing their love for the Orioles. Other memories include talking with Michael about his travels after Margie passed away. May his memory be a blessing.

Kathy and Amanda, I was saddened to read of Michael today. I first met Michael when we were on the Voluntary Action Center board, then your family lived in our neighborhood, and finally, when he willingly agreed to my request to head the library building campaign. He was truly a community-minded person and many will miss him.

My condolences to the Wilder family on the passing of Michael. I only met him once during a high holiday meal at Arthur and Marilyn Knolls house about 5 years ago but our conversation left a mark on me. I remember him being very humble and interested in reminiscing about his days at The Hartford where we both worked.

Kathryn and Amanda. I am so sorry to learn of Michael's passing. Growing up on Legion Ave in New Haven her was one of my first childhood friends & those times we spent growing up I will cherish forever. I will not be able to attend the services on Wednesday but my thoughts are with you. I am so happy that I was recently able to connect with him one last time

Michael was a tremendous supporter of the West Hartford Public Library, especially of the Children's Department. His generosity and love for children will be appreciated always. I personally enjoyed interacting with him for many years and will miss his presence in the library.
In support and friendship,
