Michael Zurolo

ZUROLO, MICHAEL F. Michael F. Zurolo, 90, of South Shore Dr., East Haven, and formerly of Cape Coral, FL, died on Friday, May 23, 2014, at his home. He is the husband of Teresa Agnone Zurolo. He was born in New Haven on June 5, 1923, to the late Gabriel and Carmela Lauitano Zurolo. Michael was the owner and operator of Custom Printing in Hamden for more than 30 years. He worked alongside his son for many of those years, until his retirement in 1989. He loved to cook and take trips up to the casino. While in Florida, he was a member of the Italian American Club and the Garden Club in his area. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael P. Zurolo of Guilford and Robert Zurolo of Denver, NC., two daughters, Patricia Batrow of Branford and Francine Thorning of New Mexico and a brother Anthony Zurolo of North Haven. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by four brothers, Carmine, Venturo, Joseph and John Zurolo.
