Marjorie (Ganzfried) Winters and Mike rehearsing for the Pizza Party, SHS Class of 1959 Reunion

I just learned of Mike's passing yesterday. Members of the Stamford Class of 1959 were writing about the next reunion, our 55th, and trying to reach Mike. I did some online research and found, to my dismay, that he had passed away last year, and now have found the site on which to add my memories. Mike and I worked on presenting a short program of songs we used to sing in high school for our 50th reunion, a few short years ago. The best part was collaborating with Mike--exchanging song suggestions, working out the arrangements, and best of all, having a great time together. I've passed along the sad news to my SHS Class of 59 and friends in the SHS Class of 60. We'll miss him at the next reunion, but think of him fondly.

Dear Mike,
I have and will always cherish the recordings we made in the New York studio. I hear Angels tapping their feet and swaying gently to the music of your life and soul. We'll meet again across the river and on that distant shore. Until then, keep the piano bench warm for me.
