NANCY ANTON Obituary

ANTON, NANCY B. Nancy B. Anton, age 84, a lifelong Milford resident, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in her home. The daughter of the late Berkley and Dorothy Plumb Bray, she was born on August 18, 1931. She had been employed by Canada Dry, Coldwell Banker and retired from Milford Bank as a Loan Officer. An active member of the community, she volunteered at Milford Hospital for over 10 years. Nancy will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking, sewing, playing classical music and her legendary cheesecake. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Gayle Anton and her spouse Catherine Schuster of Manchester, grandsons Jason (Alison) Anton and Eric (Karen) Anton, great grandchildren Austin, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Dylan and Ryan, sisters Catherine Tomack and Beverly Pierpont, special niece Susanne Kos, nephew Jim Anton along with many close friends and neighbors. Besides her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her beloved son Mark Anton. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford.
