Rosina, Lisa and Family, We are truly sorry to hear the loss of your dad. He was a good man. Loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend. He was loved by all. He left us some fun memories like when we would all get together for grandmas birthday and repeat her phrase "You never call me" but your dad did it the best and would have us all laughing. It will be one year our father, his brother passed this month and my family will be forever grateful to him for being our rock during that trying time in our lives on many levels. His phone calls will be missed by all. Sending our love and may he reunite with your mom and family in heaven. Love Tina, Tom and Family

My condolences to Rosina, Lisa and their families on the loss of their dad and grandfather. Uncle Nick, as I knew him , was always good to me. I always remember him giving us haircuts at our grandparents house when we all would be there. He took over the bathroom and gave us all razor cuts . And this was at Sunday dinner.
We would go out crabbing at night on my dad´s boat under the Great South Bay bridge off Long Island. One time , Uncle Nick was with us and we were really catching a lot of crabs. The bushels were filling up and some of the critters were running around on the boat deck. Uncle Nick caught one by hand to put it back, and the crab clamped down on his finger, drawing blood. My uncle then proceeded to tear every limb from the crab and pummel what was left under his feet. He bandaged his finger and returned to crabbing.
Uncle Nick was kind and lowkey, but his quiet demeanor was not a sign of weakness. He would be straight up with you, and a few times set me straight when I was a teen. Lastly, he had a great laugh and smile. He told funny jokes, and didn´t look down on anyone.
Uncle Nick was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was extremely giving and always gave a helping hand to someone that needed it. Farewell, Uncle Nick, thank you. Rest in eternal peace.

Nick was my Barber when I was younger. He was a pleasure to talk to and always had a smile on his face. R.I.P. Nick.
