HYNOVICH, OLGA M. Olga M. Hynovich of Branford died Sunday March 6, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Olga was born at home in Branford, August 2, 1927. She lived her entire life in the family home, a charming renovated 1800s schoolhouse. Olga was the youngest child of the late Anna and John Hynovich. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony, her brave and loving World War II hero. Olga is survived by her lifelong best friend and older sister, Nida Sutherland. The two were inseparable, known in town as “The Girls.” They spent every summer at Branford Point and loved Branford, never leaving. She enjoyed driving around town and was her sister’s driver. They had great fun just viewing the sights and visiting friends. Olga was a huge Frank Sinatra fan and played his music often remembering seeing him in concert. Cats were her passion and she was kind and loving to them. Olga shared her life with Princess and Blackie, telling tales of their antics to her many friends. They brought her such joy and happiness. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Church in Branford and was in the granny knitting club. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00, and are invited to a funeral service at 11:00, in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street Branford. Private burial will be in Branford Center Cemetery.
