Patricia Kledaras Pacelle, an Orange resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7 at the age of 92. Born December 7, 1928, Pat was the eldest daughter of the late George and Mary Papatheofrastou Kledaras. She graduated from Commercial High School and then worked at Soundscribers. Her career continued with work at the New Haven Testing Laboratory and the New Haven Public School System. She had a wonderful sense of humor and brought sunshine wherever she was. She was always ready with a kind word, and strangers soon became friends.
Patricia was a devoted family member to her large and loving family including her husband of 68 years, Richard L. Pacelle, Sr. her four children, Richard L. Pacelle Jr. (Fenton Martin), Kim (Dennis) Johnsky, Wendy (Neil) Hathaway and Wayne Pacelle (Lisa Fletcher). She was the doting grandmother of Danika (Chris) Hodges, Robb (Lauren) Hathaway, Corey Hathaway, and step-grandmother of Craig Martin (Chiara Bariviera) and great-grandmother of Cora and Charlie Hodges and Penelope Hathaway; her sisters Harriet Kral and Cally (Joseph) Angeletti, her godchild Marcy Winkel and in-laws Beverly Kledaras and George Guiliotis, numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families. Patricia was predeceased by her siblings Thomas and Stanley Kledaras, Dorothy Guiliotis, Georgene Kledaras, brother-in-law Walter Kral and step-grandson Russell Martin.

A celebration of Patricia's life will take place on Saturday September 18 from 10 to noon at the West Haven Funeral Home, 662 Savin Ave. West Haven, CT. Please come to share fond remembrances of Pat.
