Dear Greg,
Penni and I collaborated on many projects together, but I never thought of it as work. A field day with Penni was a joyous outing. Good fun. Good conversation. I'll miss her. My deepest sympathies.

I knew her in Greenwich and she was always so very pleasant to be with, almost shy at times.
Sad and shocked. It was far too early for her to go. Joe Zeranski

So sorry to hear this sad news.... Penny was wonderful...

December 23, 2014

Dear Greg,

I am stunned and sorrowed by the news of Penni's passing. I have always respected her work and enjoyed her company. Moreover, I am grateful for the conservation foundation Penni so firmly established here in Wilton. I often think of her with gratitude knowing it was her early work here that has made my time working in Wilton so rewarding.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Greg: My most sincere condolences to you, your children, and grandchildren on the loss of your beloved Penni. She was a joy to work with, even when we were on opposite sides of a project, she conducted herself with grace and dignity that so often are lacking in our profession. I will miss her gentle presence, her passion for flora, and her love of nature. Michael Klemens
