Philip (Phil) M. Labanara, 70, of Madison, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on December 25, 1954. Son of the late Louis Labanara and Kathryn (Farrington) Labanara. He was predeceased by his brothers: Robert and Mark (Theresa). He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy (Grady) Labanara, and two children: Michael (Kelsey) Labanara of Saint Petersburg, FL and Christen (Jaime) Antunes of Madison, CT; three grandchildren: Henley, Hailey and Molly; three brothers: David (Lisa) of Madison, CT, Louis (Diane) of Chaplin, CT, and Paul of Standish, Maine; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University. Professionally, he spent nearly 40 years at The Coca-Cola Company. He was a parishioner of Saint Margaret Church in Madison and enjoyed spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren), golfing at the Madison Country Club, where he was a longtime member and watching UConn Huskies Basketball. Phil lived a wonderful life and will be missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Friday, January 2nd, in Saint Margret Church, 24 Academy Street, Madison. The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven and Connecticut Hospice for his care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The American Cancer Society.
