Robert Beurer Obituary
Robert J. Beurer of Greenacres Fl. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at the age of 92. He passed peacefully at home and is now with the love of his life, Nancy. Robert was born in New Haven Ct. to Frederick and Ethel Beurer. He graduated from New Haven University and worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as an Engineer for 38 years. He was also a professional drummer with the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches, and The Royal Palm Beach Community Concert Band. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, and by his siblings, Frederick Beurer, Ernest Beurer and Phyllis Beurer. He is survived by his four children, Bonnie and Edward Degennaro, Deborah Beurer, Robert and Lily Beurer Jr. and James and Nancy Duncan. He had 6 grandchildren and 9 great children. He was well loved by everyone for his humor and warmth. The thing he loved the most was being surrounded by family.
A Memorial for Robert is planned for Saturday, November 13, from 1pm to 3pm. It will be held at Del Lago Chapel 131 S. Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, Fl. 33460. All are invited to attend.

My gosh, Three years since you´ve been gone. I still think of the frequent conversations that Jay and I had with you regularly. I miss you both.
I hope you´re drumming away and Jay is tinkling those Ivories as you both did here in life on Earth.

I cannot believe it is a year ago that we lost you. Jay passed away on August 3rd and has joined you and all the other musicians who went before him. If you and he exist in another dimension, I pray that you are at peace and making music again. Much love, but only from me this time.

I only met Bob once in Connecticut during the Sikorsky years, but felt as I knew him for years through his son Bob.
I know he was generous with his love to his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

My gosh. We just talked with Bob the other day. We had many conversations over the past few years reminiscing of our band and performing days. Bob and Jay (pianist) played many jobs together when Bob still lived in CT. What a super guy he was. We are so very sad that he is now gone. We shall miss our telephone conversations.
May he rest in peace with Nancy. Prayers and condolences to his family.
