ROBERT BLOSSEY Obituary

BLOSSEY, ROBERT J. Robert J. Blossey, beloved son, brother, husband and uncle, passed away at his home in Woodbridge, CT on November 5. Robert was born in Detroit on December 6, 1933 to Arthur and Dorothy Blossey. He earned his BBA from the University of Michigan in 1956 and then joined the U.S. Army. While serving, Bob met the love of his life, Marjorie Scott, who worked as the librarian at the local branch. They married in 1963 in California. Bob went on to have distinguished careers as a business executive at several companies including General Electric, McCall’s and Stanley Tools. Bob and Marjorie enjoyed their pet cats, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Bob also loved to watch his favorite team, the University of Michigan Wolverines. He was a masterful storyteller with a fine wit. His laughter was contagious. He will be missed so much. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marjorie (Scott) Blossey, his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Blossey, his brother, Arthur Harmon Blossey. He is survived by his sister-in-law; Barbara Blossey, nephew; Michael Scott, nieces; Rebecca (Karl) Kuenn, Bonnie (Mark) Steward; grandnephew and niece; Arthur J. and Jenna Steward.
