ROBERT DANIELS Obituary

Robert G. Daniels, age 90 of West Haven, beloved husband of Patricia Roth Daniels, passed away June 4, 2017 at St. Raphael's Hospital, New Haven. Robert was born in New Haven, April 20, 1927, son of the late Robert and Mary Prohaska Daniels. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy and was employed as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for many years until his retirement and was a member of the New Haven Mineral Club. Besides his beloved wife Patricia, he is survived by his son, Robert J. Daniels and his wife Linda of Milford; his grandchildren, Robert T. Daniels and Ashley E. Daniels of Milford; and his son-in-law, Victor Mitchell of Orange. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Mitchell and his brother, Louis Daniels. Calling hours will be held Friday June 9th from 5pm to 8pm in Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Burial with full military honors will be held Saturday June 10th at 10am directly in King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
