Robert L. DeSimone
Robert "Bobby" Lawrence DeSimone, 74, of North Haven died suddenly at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday, October 8, 2021. Bobby was born in New Haven on September 5, 1947, a son of the late Harry and Mary Louise Apuzzo DeSimone, and was a lifelong North Haven resident. He was a welder and machine operator for Turbine Components of Branford for twenty five years, retiring in 2014. Bobby is survived by his sister-in-law Nancy DeSimone of North Haven, a niece, Elisa Molner of Naugatuck, two nephews, Marcus DeSimone and Matthew (Stephanie) DeSimone of North Haven, his former wife Eileen Onofrio of New Haven, and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Harry L. DeSimone. Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish (St. Therese Church), 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven on Saturday, November 13th for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. The Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven has been entrusted with arrangements. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
