Robert Raiano Obituary

Robert Anthony Raiano, of Hamden passed away suddenly May 4, 2017 at his home. Born in New Haven May 13, 1975, son of Ronald Raiano (NHPD, Retired) and the late Roseanne Villano Raiano, Rob was a 1993 graduate of Hamden High School. He is the loving father of Mateo Raiano. Brother of Robin (Randy) D'Amato. Uncle and Godfather of Logan Solomon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his former wife Maria Porto. Rob was the life of the party. He was an avid NY Yankees fan, enjoyed riding his Harley, but his passion was his son and watching him aspire at many sports. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-8 in the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME INC. 11 Wooster Place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 in St. Michael's Church. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made for Mateo's education through the funeral home. Sign Rob's guest book online at www.iovanne.com
