Robert Schpero Obituary
Robert A. Schpero, 82, of Hamden, passed away peacefully at Connecticut Hospice in Branford on October 26, 2025, after a 16-year struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
Robert was born November 23, 1942 to the late William and Estelle Schpero from Derby. He was a graduate of Tufts University and UConn School of Law, and was a partner in the law firm, Sachs, Schpero, Berman & Shure. He shared the last 45 years of his life with his beloved wife, Carol Bossoli (his Shirl).
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Tracy Schpero Fitzpatrick (William) Bronx, NY and his beloved son Michael Schpero (Samantha), Raleigh, NC, and five loving grandchildren, David and Joshua Fitzpatrick, Bronx, NY and Maya, Chelsea, and Brody, Raleigh, NC. Robert is also survived by his brother Richard Schpero (Barbara).
Robert loved his family deeply. He also loved golf and was a former member of Race Brook Country Club in Orange. He braved his disease courageously.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Teresa Akier for the compassion and endless care she extended to Robert over the years.
Funeral Services and Shiva will be Private. The Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, New Haven is in care of Arrangements.
