Roland Pepin Obituary
Roland Pepin Jr age 62 of Branford, passed away suddenly on 9/6/21 at home. Roland was born 4/24/59 in New Haven. He was an amazing musician, a member of countless bands throughout the decades, had composed and recorded a vast collection of music, and had continued to perform and entertain until the end. Keyboards were his primary focus, but had easily mastered the guitar; bass and drums without formal training. His musical taste ranged from the Bee Gees to Frank Zappa and everything in between. Roland had a unique wit, sense of humor, and a peaceful disposition making him a wonderful friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his sister Pamela Lynk and nephew Ricky Lynk, former spouses Sylvia Borzilla-Bahnsen and Geraldine Zimbardi. He is pre deceased by Sister Roberta Pepin-Munro, mother Valentina Pepin and father Roland Pepin Sr.
Roland's ashes will be laid to rest with his mother and father at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven during a memorial open to all on 9/17/21 at 10:00am. A celebration of life open mic day at Nuzzo's Farm in Branford will be held 10/24/21 from 11 to 4; a day of music, food, and a planting of a tree in Roland's memory for all that wish to attend.

Roland was my Godfather. Though we did not remain in close contact over the years, whenever I saw him with his band out and about, he was always friendly and welcoming. A true pleasure to have known him and his amazing musical talent. He made a great impression on my brother, musically. He will be missed.
