Stella Ficociello Obituary
Stella (Borrelli) Ficociello, 68 of East Haven, passed away July 25, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born December 17, 1949 in New Haven to Peter and Henrietta (Fusco) Borrelli. Stella is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Vincent Ficociello and her five children, Joseph Antonucci (Michelle) of Orange, Denise Gonsalves-Antonucci of North Branford, Ricky Antonucci of North Haven, Greg Antonucci of East Haven, Steven Antonucci of Branford along with six grandchildren, Isabella, Rocco, and Antonio Antonucci, Brianna and Ava Gonsalves and Gianni Antonucci. Stella is also survived by two brothers, Vincent Borrelli (Maryann) of New Haven and Richard Borrelli (Carmela) of New Haven.
Stella graduated Eli Whitney as a hairdresser and went on to do hair for many years, even owning her own salon in New Haven named "Joey and Denise's."
She loved her animls and spent most of her time with her family and grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
