Dear Michael and Family,
I was just told about Sue's passing and to say I was surprised is an understatement. I have many fond memories of our happy times as neighbors on Skyline Dr in Orange. She was loved by many and will be missed by those who knew her. May she Rest In Peace and please send my regards to Sarah, Heather, and Sue's mother.
With fondness,

Thank you, Sue, for bolstering me through breast cancer treatment in 2009. We taught next door at the Orange Senior Center for 10 years, computer lab next to Yoga class. You inspire me still. Godspeed.

Sue was always genuine. She loved her family and friends to the fullest.
I knew Sue as a dear and loyal friend. Her values never wavered. Whatever she did, she went all in. You just had to admire that! If Sue gave you advice (and she often did and I always welcomed it) her wisdom was evident in her words. Her years of study and meditation made her a wise soul.
I am glad that her suffering and pain are over. She belongs to the universe now, but she lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. We will never forget you.

Beautiful eulogy; exquisite life. Ambika was an extraordinary friend and an enduring source of kindness, compassion and wisdom. She was relentless in her loving and fierce in her spiritual practice and studentship. She inspires me as a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend, a student and a teacher. Above all she practiced yoga; lived yoga - in every single moment; consciously and unconsciously, gracing the world and holding each of us in the highest, brightest presence. Thank you for your faith in me; in all you met, Sue-ji. I love you, love you, always.

Sue was without a doubt the most grace-filled, love-filled example of what yoga looks like when someone is truly living it. After his stroke, Ram Dass supposedly said he was going to have to teach his generation of hippies how to do this thing. Whenever I read one of Sue's lovely, optimistic, gracious updates about her condition in the last year, I thought "She is showing the Parayogis how to do this"; loving, healing, dying, transcending. Thank you, and Namaste.

As I am sure was and is true for so many....Sue taught me how to live life in a different way. I remember her words many years ago...begin your own practice and your life will change, you will be able to witness the change, to recognize it, to watch it. It happened, came to pass, and I am forever grateful for myself, for this community! and for the world. Grateful for Sue. We learned through listening, watching, feeling, practicing, and doing -often in her midst, then on our own with her in our mind. The best kind of teacher....she lived her teachings and the impact of them was/is evident. A gift that continues to grow, spread, and impact near and far.
Retreats by the sea at the Mercy Center, classes at Balanced Studio and YCYC, together at the Himalayan Institute, gathered around the sacred fire, with her mother and daughters at her side in the studio, in her own downstairs temple, on the reiki table, at her kitchen counter, New Years Days (she will always be a part of a new year)....she laughed, invited growth and acceptance, spoke Sanskrit, called in spirits and sages, told stories, bestowed energies, loved, taught self-love and care, was real, and taught us a different way.
Forever changed. Sue you left us with so much!
Blessings upon her soul and its travels. Blessings upon her family. Blessings upon us all moving on with the absence of her physical being.

Taking Sue's Four Desires Workshop in 2015 was the biggest life-changing experience for me. Her grace and presence held space for many of us that weekend who had lost our mothers or had strained relationships with them. Her nurturing energy was a beacon of hope and I will be forever inspired by the essential healing work she did. So grateful to have been her student. Sending so much love to Sara and the whole family. Namaste.

Such words of wisdom, grace and gratitude will be kept in a special place in my heart and soul, because of knowing Sue, for just a short time.

Our hearts were heavy to learn the news that our own dear Sue Neufeld steady presence, guiding light, master teacher, nurturing force and ongoing inspiration to Your Community Yoga Center has passed. We are all profoundly blessed to have known her.
We will long remember her own words to us, "I came, I lived, I appreciated, I shined, I loved, and my blessed ones, I left. Find me in the stars, in the sacred fire, in a giggle or a smile. Find me in your joy and your love." Shine on beloved Sue.

Susan will eternally be the light and love of the universe. She was an empathic guide and loving friend to all who had the opportunity to know her as a yogi and a friend.
Susan was one of my first spiritual yogis in which she bestowed such grace and well being to me and to all that she taught and embraced.
My heartfelt condolences to Susans family. Her loving spirit, wisdom and kindness will live infinitely.
