Teresa Ann Carrano, 66, of Durham, loving companion of Gerard Cretella passed away on April 2, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home. Beloved mother of Robert (Julie Nolan) Wasilewski of Portland, David Wasilewski of Durham and Theresa (Vincent) Durso of Dry Fork, VA. Grandmother of Amy, Bryan and Samantha D'Auria. Sister of Mary Ann (Edward) Voss of West Haven, Frank Carrano of Indiana and the late Eva, Mario and Thomas Carrano. Teresa was born in New Haven on August 16, 1956 daughter of the late Mario and Frances Villarreal Carrano. Prior to her retirement Teresa was a graphic designer for the Marlin Company.
Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven THURSDAY evening at 7pm. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call THURSDAY from 5pm to 8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org. Sign Teresa's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net.

My deepest condolences to Terry's Family and her loved ones. She was an extremely nice and kind person. She was so talented and always looked for ways to express her creativity. Her baking was amazing! She was such a giver to all who knew her and so much fun to be around. She will be deeply missed!
