Thomas Pitts Obituary

Thomas O. Pitts
Thomas O. Pitts, 78, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Soules Pitts. Thomas was born in New Haven on April 26th, 1947, and was the son of the late Thomas and Elvira Arnone Pitts. For many years, Thomas worked for Stop and Shop as a certified forklift operator and spent hours on end loading their trucks at the warehouse. During his time with Stop and Shop, Thomas became a member of the Teamsters Union Local 443. Thomas enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a fan of the legendary, Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also enjoyed his oldies music, spending time out in nature whether he be fishing by the beach or taking hikes out in the woods, and spending hours attending the auctions. Thomas is survived by his children, Dominic, Tina Marie, Thomas III, and Shaun Pitts, his grandchildren, Natasha Clark and Shaun, Jr., Jessica, and Jasmine Pitts, and his great-grandchildren, Aiden and Liam Feamster. He is also survived by his brothers, John and Stanley Borzenski. Thomas was predeceased by his twin brother, Robert Pitts.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, on Wednesday, November 19th, at 12:00 p.m., to attend a graveside service for both Thomas and his late wife Linda. The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven, has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
