Vincent J. Della Rocca, 75, of Wallingford, CT, and a former resident of North Haven, CT, passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at Midstate Hospital in Meriden. He was born on June 25, 1949, in New Haven, CT, to Joseph C. Della Rocca and Lucille (Ruggiero) Della Rocca.
Vin was a graduate of Quinnipiac University and received his Masters' Degree at the University of Massachusetts. He worked his whole life in the building industry as a carpenter, real estate agent, and project manager. Vin was an excellent woodworker himself. Anything that he made was sturdy, strong, and would last for years.
Vin is survived by his sons, Joseph Della Rocca and Gerry Della Rocca. He is also survived by his sister, Rosann Morehouse, brother-in-law, Clifford Morehouse, and his two nephews, Mark and Matthew Morehouse.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Midstate Hospital for their care and comfort.
Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, please consider acts of kindness, especially for elderly people, in Vin's memory.
