Vito Pepe

Pepe, Vito Vito Pepe, 91, of 960 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden, died at Yale New Haven Hospital, Nov. 2, 2012. He was the husband of the late Antoinette DiLeone Pepe. Vito was born in Woodbridge, Feb. 27, 1921, the son of the late Gaetano and Josephine Bonnano Pepe and owned and operated Pepe Farms in Hartford for over 30 years, retiring in 1984. He resided in Hamden most of his life. He is survived by a son Robert (Mary) Pepe of Northford, daughter, Mrs. Tim (Maria) Hogan of Hamden, a daughter-in-law, Carole Pepe of Derby, a brother, Emelio (Isabella) Pepe of GA. grandchildren, Lisa Lavorgna, Sara Gesner, Alison, Joseph, Robert, Matthew, and Andrew Pepe and Timothy, Elizabeth, Emily and Ryan Hogan, and 7 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son, Joseph Pepe and siblings Rose, John, Thomas, Ernest, Eugene Pepe and Janet Angiola and Mary Gaetano. Funeral Monday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 7 P.M.
