Wendell Sanford Obituary
Wendell Sanford, 95, of Ansonia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 13 in Lord Chamberlin. He is the husband to Roma (Sessler) Sanford. Born in Sandwich, MA on Sept. 20, 1930, son of the late Hubert and Christina (Chase) Sanford and was employed for SNET Co as a truck driver. A Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Survivors besides his wife are 4 daughters, Debra (Victor) Saavedra of Branford, Cheryl (Gerald) Childs of Ansonia, Robyn (Robert) Krugel of TN and Wendy (Daniel) LaRese of TN; 1 son, Scott (Monica)
Sanford of Plainville; 1 brother, Edsel Sanford of Wallingford; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Burial will be in CT Veterans Cemetery Middletown to be announced in the future.
Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
