Frances Zahn Obituary

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS -- Frances (Murnane) Zahn, 90, formerly of Hoboken, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010.

Before retiring, she was a factory worker for Lipton Tea Co. in Hoboken. Frances was a former member of the Leisure Club in Hasbrouck Heights.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Zahn; devoted mother of Ellen DePalma and her husband, Ignatius, of Toms River, Edward Zahn and his wife, Joanne, and Kathy Dinallo and her husband, Dennis, all of Hasbrouck Heights, Mary Bollette of Newton and her husband, the late Jack, Joseph Zahn and his wife, Michelle, of Hasbrouck Heights, Frances Sanzo and her husband, Robert, of Lyndhurst, and Kenneth Zahn and his wife, Linda, of Saddle River; dear sister of Nora Karpinski of south Jersey and her husband, the late Joseph, the late James Murnane and his wife, Maude Murnane, of Hoboken, and the late John Murnane and his wife, the late Theresa; and the loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held from Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, on Tuesday at 10 a.m. A funeral liturgy will be held from Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, at 11 a.m., with entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the AlzheimerÕs Association would be appreciated.
