Jack Petrillo Obituary

VERNON -- Jack Petrillo, 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. Mr. Petrillo, the son of the late Paul and Josephine Zizolpho Petrillo, was born on July 19, 1934 in The Bronx, N.Y. He had resided in Vernon since 1971.

Mr. Petrillo was a machinist for Ames Rubber Corp. in Vernon until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a life member of the Wallkill Valley VFW Post No. 8441 of Vernon.

Mr. Petrillo was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Josephine Petrillo, in 1990; his second wife, Lorraine Petrillo, in 2002; a sister, Nancy Francis, in 1990; and a granddaughter, Joelle Petrillo, in 1995. He is survived by three children, Paul Petrillo of Vernon, Frank Petrillo of Hardyston and Betty Flaherty of Highland Lakes; a brother, Mario Petrillo of Springfield, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the home of Frank Petrillo, 426 Route 517, McAfee. Cremation arrangements are by Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wallkill Valley VFW Post No. 8441, P.O. Box 414, Vernon, NJ 07462.

Don't know if you remember THE HEALYS
from Barry Lakes, Vernon NJ -I would like to send my condolences to the Petrillo family from all of the Healy's-My dad Tom Healy left us 3 years ago and now he's met another friend! God Bless!
