Debbie and family
You may not know us ..... Sean & Debbie Coveney of Oak Ridge. But We knew Jay for so many years growing up in the same town and having a mutual friend Jay Sullivan.
We are beyond devastated with his sudden passing. We just found out TODAY! We saw each other at Rod Cartier’s funeral.
I spoke with him a few weeks ago about our boat storage venture and he knew we were looking into prices and how to go about it. He gave me info and a person to talk to.
I was nagging him about smoking and even those electric cigarettes too!
He said he was weaning himself off of them . Was working on the food truck festival and looking forward to your daughters wedding .
Jay will always be remembered as a kind and great person to talk to and hang out with. He was a true lifelong friend no matter how many years that went by without speaking .
We are deeply sorry for your loss!

Having worked with Debbie Carter for a number of years at Selective Insurance I knew Jay . I retired and moved to Maine so my contacts with the Carter family have been much less frequent but we still exchanged cards at Christmas and Debbie was a faithful caller maintaining contact. She would keep me up to date with the kids and the various endeavors in which Jay was involved. She was always very proud of them all. My wife Kathy and I have them all in our prayers at this very difficult time.
