Leonora Goarcke Obituary
Born in Franklin, Mrs. Goarcke was a lifelong resident of Franklin. She was a secretary at Plastoid Corp., in Hamburg, for 21 years until her retirement in 1989. She lived a long, healthy, enjoyable life with her companion, Gerald "Jerry" Schoonover, for 51 years.
The daughter of the late John and Martha (Smith) Gall, formerly of Lafayette, Mrs. Goarcke was also predeceased by her husband, Carl F. Goarcke; her four siblings, brothers, Willard Gall and her twin, Leonard Gall, Robert Gall, and sister, Dorothy Gall Moody; one grandchild, Robert J. Goarcke, and his mother, her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Powers Goarcke. She is survived by her son, Carl J. Goarcke; daughter, Audrey "Sue" McDole, and her husband, Barry J. McDole; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.

We are so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. She was a wonderful lady and we enjoyed many hours in her and Billy's company at the Williams' Family Reunions and other times. Rest in Peace Sam, you will be missed. Praying for the family. God bless.
