Walter Pennell Obituary
Born July 17, 1935, in Wantage, Walter was a son of the late George and Viola Still Pennell. Walter was a laborer for most of his life, doing farming, stone masonry and construction work. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching TV.
Walter is survived by his three sons, Wayne A. Pennell, of Bangor, Pa., Jack and his wife, Kelly, of Bangor, Pa., and Ronald and his wife, Dody, of Hope; two daughters, Wanda Rieger and her husband, Marc, of Georgia, and Connie and her husband, Corky Smith, of North Carolina; a sister, Rena Rome, of Sussex; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Walter A. Jr., and a daughter, Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 13, at the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market St., Bangor, Pa. There will be a viewing at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Deckertown Union Cemetery, Sussex.
