Joan Sara Frank January 23, 1950 - April 30, 2024 Joan Sara Frank, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful Jehovah's Witness, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024 at her home in Cle Elum, Washington, with family by her side. She was 74 years old.

Joan, known to many as "Joni," was a dedicated dog groomer who brought joy to countless furry friends in the upper county for over 40 years. Her passion for animals shone through in her work, and she always made sure every dog left her care looking their best.

In addition to her successful career, Joni was a devoted parent who never missed a moment to support her children, whether it was attending a field trip or book fair. Her loyalty and fierce love for her family and friends were unwavering, and she was always ready to stand up for those she cared about.

Joan found solace and strength in her faith as a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cle Elum, Washington where she worshiped for nearly 50 years. Her belief in the promised Resurrection brought her comfort and hope for the future (Acts 24:15).

Outside of her work and religious commitments, Joan enjoyed expressing her creativity through art, cracking a crossword and spending time tending to her garden with her husband, Richard.

Joni will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard Frank, her sons Joshua and James Frank, her two grandchildren Oliver and Avery, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded in death by her sister Ruth Allen, her mother Mary Margaret Shoulberg, and her father Stuart Simon Shoulberg.

Memorial services to celebrate Joan's life will be announced at a later date. In her memory, may we all strive to embody her kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love for those around her. Rest in peace, Joan.
