Lindi Petzoldt Obituary

Lindi Lee Petzoldt Lindi Lee Petzoldt, 77, longtime Cle Elum resident, passed away at her home on Monday, July 29, 2024. Her family will honor her life privately at a later date.

Lindi was born on November 5, 1946 in Seattle, Washington to Ralph & Vivian (McDaniel) Hyatt. She grew up in Issaquah and attended all of her schooling there, graduating from Issaquah High School in 1965.

In the spring of 1967, Lindi reconnected with a fellow classmate, David Petzoldt, at an Ike and Tina Turner concert in Seattle. They started dating shortly thereafter and were married on November 18, 1967. They were blessed with two sons - Jason and Paul.

Lindi attended Bellevue Community College where she became certified as a guidance counselor. She worked primarily with high school students and impacted many lives over the years. She continued to work as a counselor while her sons were in school and concluded her career in the early 1990's. She and David moved to Cle Elum in 1997 and have resided here since that time.

Lindi loved anything having to do with the outdoors and her family has many fond memories of the many camping trips they would take. She also enjoyed spending time at home, taking care of the house and her family.

Lindi is survived by her husband, David of Cle Elum; sons Jason (Jeanna) of Tulalip and Paul of Camano Island; grandsons Cameron, Jordan, Bryley, Kyler and Jayden; as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Lani Marie Nelson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum. Online condolences may be left at www.johnston-williams.com
