Peter Horish Obituary

Peter Phillip Horish 4th November 5, 1941 - April 19, 2024 Peter Phillip Horish (4th) was born on November 5, 1941. He passed peacefully on April 19, 2024. His parents were Eva Horish (Ozura) and Peter Phillip Horish (3rd) of Cle Elum, WA, both from pioneer families from Eastern Europe (Slavic, Austria, Hungarian).

Peter's first wife, Mary Ann, was killed in a tragic car accident in January 1966. Peter married Lynnel Farmer on May 25, 1979. They have two sons, Bruce of Auburn, Washington and Peter Horish (5th) of Denver, Colorado.

Peter grew up in the Cle Elum area. He went to Central Washington University and continued through Olympic College in Bremerton. He worked as a Planner and Estimator at the Naval Undersea Warfare Engineering Center at Keyport, Washington, retiring in 1994 after 32 years of Federal Service.

Peter was predeceased by his brother Paul Horish (Linda) of Cle Elum. He is survived by his wife Lynnel (Lynn), sons Bruce and Peter Horish (Vita), brothers in-law Louis Farmer, Lance Farmer (Alice), and sister-in-law Linda Horish of Cle Elum.

Pete will be cremated and buried in Roslyn, Washington later this spring.

I will Always remember Pete. I remember him from when he lived across the street from my parents home in CleElum. In later years Pete always had time to talk about times from the past whenever our paths met. R.I.P. my old neighbor. Dave Mataya
