Sandra Cooke Obituary
Sandra was born in Ellensburg on November 4, 1959 to Dexter and Carol (Renfro) Cooke. After graduating from Cle Elum High School, she attended Central Washington University and later the ITT Technical Institute. During her high school and college years, Sandra worked at McKean's Drive In, and following graduation from ITT, Sandra went to work for the City of Roslyn, then leaving the City, she started working at the Roslyn Telephone Company, which turned into a lifelong career working for the Inland Telephone / Networks / Cellular companies. During her 36 years working for the "Inland" companies, she developed many close friends there.
Sandra enjoyed crafting, playing games, spending time with friends and family. She very much loved her cats and especially enjoyed sharing pictures and stories about her "furry kids". Sandra was a tender hearted and loving person who was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Sally (Jeff) Keilman; brothers Alan (Pamela Coleman) Cooke, Steve (Deanne) Cooke and Lynn (Deana) Cooke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who knew her as "Auntie".
Memorial contributions in Sandra's honor are suggested to the ARRF Animal Rescue shelter in Roslyn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.johnston-williams.com

Oh, dear Sandra, we knew each other all of our CE lives.
As little kids, your mom gave us rides to swim lessons at the pool in hot summer, on sizzling leather seats!
We were classmates and bonded in Miller´s math and chem/physics too!
You were quietly, so smart.
We shared bday greeting as both born on the 4th, tho different months.
What a career u had at inland!
Just saw our CHS annual picture, for Elizabeth´s bday, as grad speakers then.
Saw your bro at 4th parade, hope he gave you my hello.
Never imagined, soon, it would be a goodbye!
