Monticello - Bonnie Bray-Owens (née Moore), 86 years of age, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Bonnie was born in Corbin, Kentucky to her late parents, Terry Moore and Pearl Mullins Moore. Bonnie started her life by living in a coal mining camp in Crummies Creek, Kentucky, a true coal miner's daughter. Her faith and her family were the two things she deeply treasured. She loved her church, yard sales, playing her dulcimer, gardening, painting and fishing. She was a devoted pet lover. Bonnie is preceded in death by her late husbands, Newman Bray and Kidwell Owens; and her daughter, Kathy Courtelis. Left to her passing is her son, Terry Bray (Patricia); her grandchildren, Andrew Oliver, Elizabeth Floyd, Donald Bray, Kristine Bray-Daines, Adrian Bray-Tarvin, and Lucas Bray; and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services and Burial will be private. You will be so missed! Thank you for being the best Mother-in-Law that a Daughter-in-law could ever have wished for. We are all so blessed by the love that you gave to us.
