Carlene Conley Obituary
CONLEY
Carlene Hartman Conley, 69, of Independence, Kentucky beloved mother of Ann (Mike) Gorman and Ginger (Robin) Goetz, ascended into the loving arms of the Lord on March 15, 2015. She dearly loved and was extremely proud of her five grandchildren: Jenna and Sean Gorman of Seattle, Washington and Taylor, Jacob and Samantha Goetz of Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Cherished and adored sister to Louise (Tony) Dixon, and Aunt to Derrick Gonzalez and Laura Powell. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Lt. Col. Carl W. Hartman and Ann West Hartman. Carlene will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203, a charity near and dear to her heart. She will be truly and forever missed. So sorry to hear of Carlene's passing. Remember her so well from our Milteer Family Reunions at Wayne and Eddie's in North Carolina. Third cousins, we were nearly the same age. It is with such sadness that I learned of my cousin's tragic death today. It's been a few years since we have seen each other,but we shared many happy times as youngsters & as adults, while visiting with each other at summer family reunions. I will remember her beautiful smile, her lovely voice-- as she could sing like a "song bird" and her unconditional love of family and friends. A beautiful lady, whom I will never forget. Rest in Peace, Carlene. My thoughts and prayers are with Carlene's immediate family as you mourn the loss of such a dear person. May God give you comfort and peace during this time of grief. Johnny joins me in extending our most heartfelt and deepest sympathy.
