Geraldine Burkhart

Covington - Geraldine Burkhart, 84, of Covington, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was a member of Erlanger United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Ladies Society, the Licking River Quilting Guild and retired as a Pharmacy Tech from Blank's Pharmacy in Covington. Geraldine loved her dog, Mein. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Oma Fultz Roark; and daughter, C. Montgomery. Survivors include her companion, J. Burkhart; daughters, K. Miller, N. Purdon (M. Purdon), S. Barhorst (K. Barhorst) and M. Litkenhaus (R. Litkenhaus); sister, R. Nantz; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. MIDDENDORF-BULLOCK FUNERAL HOME, COVINGTON is serving the family. No matter what we did together, dying socks, going to quilt shows, making quilts or shopping the thrift stores for a good quilt book, we had fun. More like a sister than a friend. Missing her today. Linda H.

Remembering my dear friend. What a character. We had such great times in Gatlinburg at the Mountain Quiltfest, quilting, and sewing together. And our own Red Hat group. Miss her so much.
I know it hasn´t been an easy year for the family. God´s blessings upon you.

I was in a sewing group with Gerry and she was the life of the party! I have been friends with her Daughter for several years and her family is going to miss her. She was a problem solver and cared deeply for others. Rest well my friend.

My mom loved taking pictures & she was good at it. We did not always see eye to eye but we loved each other in "our" way. I will miss her and cherish the memories we had, going to Cheryl's grave, Waynesville antique shopping & going to the good will, "finding treasures". It warms my heart to know she is finally at peace & has no pain or heartache.

We had been friends for over 50 years. She called me everyday to see how I was doing since I have many health issues. Now my buddy is gone but I will get to see her again someday. I will miss her everyday. I loved my old friend.
